Controller Firmware:
• In rare cases, the helicopter could experience RPM fluctuations after an intermediate landing and engine restart. This bug has been fixed.
• Propeller positioning has been significantly optimized! Positioning now works much better, especially with difficult outrunners, such as those with strong locking mechanisms.
• Minor improvements
• Fixed a rare issue with excessively fast startup of the Vstabi Governor.
Optimized part-load current limiting.
• In rare cases, the controller could ONLY restart after flight and motor shutdown. This has been fixed.
• Added an additional interface for a PT1000 for external motor temperature measurement for Saphir and Aureus.
• The 35LVT is now also compatible with propeller positioning
• Overcurrent warning in Vbar Control has been revised (the warning is now displayed in the correct position in the text log and no longer after the flight)
• Support for telemetry with multi-engine models in HoTT telemetry
• Official support for Rotorflight telemetry (OpenYGE)
• Software-based rotation direction reversal (latest PC software required).
• Improved VBar Control integration. Additional settings such as current limiting, rotation direction reversal, startup behavior, F3C Auro, timing behavior, and keepmAh can now be set directly in the transmitter. Settings are applied immediately. No confirmation or restart is necessary.
• A problem where startup in Vstabi-Governor mode was too fast when increasing the control frequency has been fixed.
• Propeller positioning with Hall sensor for all ESCs (except 35LVT and Optos). Speed, power, and hold time are adjustable. Latest PC software required.
• Optional sensor kit required (coming soon).
• The initialization beep was very loud with outrunners when using high cell counts; this has now been fixed.
• The text modes/configuration menus for Jeti EXBus and Graupner HoTT have also been improved and expanded to include functions such as rotation direction reversal. Here, too, all settings are now applied immediately. No restart is necessary.
• Preset profile for soft start for scale helicopters (approx. 30 seconds)
• JR DMSS telemetry integration. Telemetry with JR transmitters now works directly, without an adapter.
• Beep tones have been revised for a smoother sound and better audibility with inrunner motors.
• F3A brake revised
• Autotiming is now adjustable in different stiffness levels (efficiency-oriented — performance-oriented)
• Fixed a bug where telemetry with Jeti now also works in 24-channel multimode
• Vbar Control: the alarming overcurrent warning no longer appears in flight
• Active freewheel in the wing modes has been revised. No more jerking during transitions with inrunners
• When using Vbar Control with VPlane, the gear ratio can now be set in the PC software
• Introduction of F3C bailout. Bailout with the motor completely switched off (mandatory for F3C competitions). This can be enabled in the PC software. PC software version >V0.997 required.
• Introduction of the YGE Sapphire 125
• Introduction of the YGE Opto 135
• Mode 1 – Vstabi-Governor: Use of active freewheel revised
• In Multiplex telemetry, the number of poles was not taken into account in some cases when calculating the RPM. This error has been fixed.
• The current limit of the 135LVT can now be increased to 200A (current PC software required!).
• New controller types added, including the YGE Saphir 155.
• Improved active freewheel
• Revised autotiming
• Smoother RPM switching in governor mode
• Current limit for the 95LVT is now 150A (adjustable to 160A max.)
• Current limit for the 135LVT is now 170A (adjustable to 180A max.)
• Graupner HoTT telemetry: Alarms for current, voltage, and temperature no longer repeat when the value is no longer critical
• Jeti-ExBus telemetry: In rare cases, when using assist receivers, some telemetry values could freeze. This bug has been fixed.
• Address changes or disabling of individual telemetry values are now possible with Multiplex telemetry.
• Capacity is now incremented in 1mAh steps (still in 10mAh steps with Graupner HoTT).
• Alarms for voltage, current, and capacity can now be freely set in the PC software under the "Log and Alarms" tab when using Graupner or Multiplex telemetry.
Attention ! Please note that some functions are only available with the latest PC software. If you are unsure, we recommend downloading the latest software beforehand. You can find it directly on the homepage as a download.
• Improved overvoltage protection for HVT controllers.
• Bug fix: In some cases, telemetry could freeze in text mode with Graupner HoTT. This bug has now been fixed.
• In case of an over-temperature warning (>80°C), the maximum permissible current is now reduced by 25%.
• Current limit can now be set higher for all controller types.
• Introduction of the 165HVT and 205HVT
• Automatic detection of Mikado telemetry when using the Vstabi NEO
(no more PC setup required)
• Graupner parameterization is locked for safety once the motor has been run
• "Fly-Again" option added (retains capacity after intermediate landing and restart)
• Improved block start in heli mode (35LVT)
• Optimized autotiming
• Reduced reserve values in Jeti telemetry
